Certifications and company policies
Since 1955, Ricci S.r.l. has been supplying food products to public bodies, the catering sector (both institutional and commercial) and cruise lines, with an unwavering commitment to quality, food safety and respect for people and the environment.
This commitment is reflected in an integrated management system, periodically audited by independent certification bodies, which covers every stage of our operations: from supplier selection to storage, right through to transport and delivery. The company is certified for quality (UNI EN ISO 9001), the environment (UNI EN ISO 14001), food safety (UNI EN ISO 22000 and the HACCP system), supply chain traceability (UNI EN ISO 22005) and social responsibility (SA8000). It is also certified as an organic business for the sale of organic products and for the sale of MSC- and ASC-certified sustainable seafood.
To further strengthen its system, Ricci S.r.l. has begun the process of transitioning to the FSSC 22000 food safety certification scheme, based on UNI EN ISO 22000 and internationally recognised by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). The certification process in accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022 on gender equality has also been initiated.
